Hello
My name is Victor, and I started Vineyard Roots to follow my goal of opening my own vineyard with my Wife. I have always loved being outdoors and working with plants. My desire to begin a vineyard started when I was living in the city. I stopped by at a suburban home improvement store and discovered some grape vines for sale. I picked up one and planted it in my own planter box I built. The vine did well for growing in an urban environment, and the box kept its rampant growth in check. A few years later, I was finished with school and sick of the hustle of the city. My girlfriend and now wife decided to move out to the suburbs into a house we rent. Because of massive student loan debt and the fact that we live in a rental property, my Wife and I have yet to purchase a home. In doing so, we hope to move to a more rural area with some land for us and our dog. Then, we can begin the process of starting a vineyard and making a living growing grapes.
